Vaughan Kitchen has retired
Veterinary surgeon, Vaughan Kitchen has hung up his stethoscope for the final time from the end of March 2018 at Southcrest Veterinary Centre, having provided over 30 years loyal service to the practice. We are already missing him, but wish him and his family all the very best in his retirement.

Important changes to our out of hours service provider
From 1st October 2018, we will be using the out of hours services of The Willows Veterinary Centre in Solihull, Highlands Road, Shirley, B904NH, instead of Clent Hills Veterinary Group, Bromsgrove. We will still provide cover as normal at Southcrest Veterinary Centre until 11pm at night on weekdays and 6pm at weekends. Until 1st October 2018, we will still be using Clent Hills Vets in Bromsgrove. Read more...

Microchipping in dogs-a legal requirement
All dogs must be microchipped by April 2016. If your dog is not microchipped, please book an appointment for a microchip. We use the smallest microchip on the market (the mini microchip) to minimise the discomfort of the injection, at a cost of only £12
